The construction of the spaceship-esq mega mansion was put on hold in 2022 when the city of La Quinta demanded further details regarding fire safety and pool codes. Kim is working with Japanese architectural power house and recipient of the highly prestigious Pritzker Prize, Tadao Ando on the $6 million, 42,000 acre plot to bring her futuristic dream to life.
According to current records, Kardashians ‘Out-of-this-world mansion in Palm Springs failed to receive approval by the 29th June deadline, meaning the project will remain on hold pending when the approval is granted, as per The Sun
Kim had gleefully described her envisioned dream home as “concrete gray-toned and really zen” this could serve as a perfect description for her current home which she shared with ex husband, Kanye West.
Located in the exclusive Madison club, a luxurious golf and tennis community in La Quinta, and also home to her mom, Kris Jenner and sister Kylie Jenner, the property’s initial plans were made alongside ex husband, Kanye before their divorce, and included extravagant features such as a gallery space , spa, swimming pool, two elevators and a movie theater.
